What Happens in a Counselling Session?

Counselling, What Happens? – This page will help explain what happens when you come to us for counselling. You will have a FREE session lasting 30 minutes. This purpose of this is to see whether we are both happy working together. This is a very relaxed session where I we will find out what you are hoping to achieve in our future counselling sessions, and what your needs are. The reasons for this is so as we can decide how long we are going to need to work together as counselling can be short term or longer work.

We will review our work on a regular basis.

Depending on your needs are will be able to determine which theory we will use when working together. Listed below are some examples of the theories we may well work with:
